You can pretty use anything for the wasit; ribbon, elastic wasitband, rope, etc. You can add any embellishment you want, flowers, bows, anything you can. Oh and you can do two colors or more, what ever your little heart desires. I think the wide elastic wasitband works the best, when you use that doing two colors, one color on top of the band and one on the bottom. I hope I'm explaning it well enough.
