Wyatts first day of kindergarten

This is Wyatt on the first day of preschool. He was very excited. This is Wyatt waiting for the bus on Wednesday. He was soo excited. And very brave. Our little Wyatt is very sensitive, so anything out of his comfort zone scares him. But he was not at all scared. He did receive a blessing the night before. And I truly believe it helped. My dad would always give us blessing. I learned at an early age how important it is to have the priesthood in our home. So we have had a great start for the year. I just hope it stays this way.

Wyatt is such a wonderful addition to our family. We love you Wyatt.

Some more lovely arrangements

I loved how this corsage turned out. We worked with wire and glue. It is one of my favorite way to do corsages. I did this on Tuesday night. Its called a Topary. It is one of my favorite centerpieces. I love them. My lilies would be taller, but the stems where broken. It really is suppose to be taller.

This one below is my first official Wedding centerpiece. They are artifical flowers. But they turned out so wonderful. I'm waiting on some really pictures from the wedding. Hopefully they got some shots of my centerpieces.
This one I did last week. I love the country look. Its beautiful.

Julie & Julia

I went and saw this movie the other night and it was wonderful. Meryl Streep did such a wonderful job...oh she just cracked me up. I did walk away from the movie feeling very motivated to cook and blog..and not just cook 20 minute meals but really really cook. Like to night we are just throwing some Brats on the grill..yum. Not a lot of thought that went into it..but really they are so yummy! Anyways, loved the movie.

Frozen in Motion

Some days I wish I could freeze time. Or I want it to go in slow motion to really enjoy the time we have together. Yesterday was one of those days. It was a lot of fun yesterday. We went to Josh's parents house and stayed the night. They are out of town right now. And we had some of the family come hang out too. We put the sprinkler under the trampoline that was a lot of fun. We took a lot of pictures of them in the air..that was so fun.

We also had the privilege of having a bat stay the night in our garage. We have no idea when it came it, but we found it yesterday afternoon. And today when we came home it was gone. I just hope I won't find it in our house.
Some of the arrangements I worked on, on Thursday. They turned out great!

"Mommy look what I can do"

This picture is for my good friend Heather. I hope you don't mind that i posted it. It was just so cute..she loved the the sloppy joes...and this is why they call them sloppy joes. "Nice and sloppy" You have such sweet kids Heather. Stuff I did last night.

My cascade bouquet turned out so cute..its a crescent shape. It would have lots more flowers, we were just getting the shape down first. At the beginning of every class we make corsages. And I keep forgetting to take pictures of those. I will have to remember next time.
This arrangement is more contemporary. Very simple. I love it. I love the vase too.

More flowers

Well, its officially, our cutie Clayton doesn't like his pictures taken anymore. So dreams of getting him into modeling is gone..lol. On a more important note. I love, love, love, my floral class!!!!! Hey did i tell you that I love it. Thanks again Josh for watching the kids. I love you too, definitely more than the flowers...lol.
This was our mini bouquet with just roses. We will soon add more flowers!

And our beautiful corsage to go with. It turned out so pretty. I would of thought a professional did this. Love the class.

Parade time

I never put these in order. Oh well. Saturday was such a fun day. We were also luck to watch some cousins, so they enjoyed they day with us. These are pictures from the car show. Josh took the older kids so I could put the other two down for a nap. Josh said it was awful this year. There weren't many cars. But this huge tracker. Us at the parade, and are good friends sat next to us. It was hot. But we do have one of the best small town parades.

This picture is from the childrens parade. We biked down to ride in it. It was a nice ride. Boy we are sure getting into this biking thing. Danica, I might take you up on that triatholon.

Mountian Bike Racing

Wyatt on his first mountain bike race. It was here in town. It was 2.2 miles. The age group was 8years old and older. He was racing against some big kids. But a kid has to start somewhere. He did awesome. The biggest goal is completing the race, which he did. Josh rode with him to help him out. He did come in last, but when he got to the finish line everyone was cheering for him. They knew he was only 5. Wyatt had a blast he wants to do more. We just have to find some more races. And find some that are more his age group.
