Floral fun!

Yesterday I started my floral class. Oh my gosh it is so much fun!! I just wanted to show what I made last night pretty much for my first time. We first made corsages. This was a first. The daisy's are a little old. But I thought it turned out pretty good for my first time.

This was actually the last arrangement we made. I think it turned out so lovely. This one only took me 15 minutes to do. I love it.

This was the second arrangement that we did. My bow was looking so sad when i first did it. My teacher helped me out a bit. This arrangement took about 30 minutes. So I think I was getting a little bit faster towards the last arrangement. Speed is everything in this business. I'm so excited to go to my next class. This is so fun, and a much need break. Thanks Josh for helping with the kids so i can do this class. Love you!

The Great Outdoors

Just thinking about making this post makes me want to watch the movie The Great Outdoors. Its such a classic 80's movie. We have enjoyed being outdoors this past couple of weeks. Josh took Wyatt and his friend Kayden fishing. We went camping for the Smith family reunion. We borrowed this trailer from a friend. It was so awesome. It was perfect for our family. Hopefully we will be able to use it again. It made camping so nice. We did a lot at the reunion: hiking, fishing, bondfires, playing in the stream. It was so nice and cool up in the mountains.

Random photo..grasshoppers have been awful this year. This is just a picture before our bug guy came and sprayed our yard...they were eating my garden. Anyways, we don't have that many any more. its so much nicer.
Hikes! On the 3rd and the 4th of july we went for hikes. On the 4th it was with josh's family and on the 3rd it was just our little family. It was a lot of fun.
Josh and Ryan got into this huge spashing war. Josh got soaked.

Fishing

We went for a little fishing trip, just the guys. Kayden, Wyatt and I (Josh). We went to payson lakes and caught 5 fish. We had a blast! We stopped at the gas station and got some donuts and chocolate milk (a necesitity!). We came home and cleaned them and bbq'ed em up. MaryBeth even tried them, and liked it. YUM

Even now as I am posting this, a couple hrs after we get home, Wyatt is asking me if we can go fishing right now. Its pretty funny! He is asking me how long will it take me to finish this so we can go fishing again-TODAY.
.

This is the first fish of the year. I know, I know, the year is 1/2 way over. My license exprired in may and just renewed it.

"a scouting we will go..."

I thought I officially hated scouting. Boy did that change when I took these awesome boys to day camp. I really needed a change of heart. It was so much fun. I wanted to do this stuff too. I ended up doing the sling shot...that was awesome. I had such a great time spending time with these boys and sharing in their excitement. And everyone of them walked away enjoying scouts more. Hopefully they will come more often.

Cooling off!

"Its getting hot in here so take off all your....." Ok I'm officially kicking it old school. When my parents came to visit, they brought with them an extra fan that they had lieing around the house. It was gold though...i'm sorry mom and dad, but I wasn't feeling the gold. But it was FREE..."for FFFRREEE" So with a $3 can of black spray paint, It is a great addition to our home. And it is much cooler in our great room. It was greatly hot in there...lol
